PROFILE

Matt is an experienced documentary & reality television veteran who has produced shows for networks and online platforms such as CBS, Peacock, Paramount +, NFL Network, MTV, A&E, Bravo, Discovery, Facebook Watch and Instagram.  

 

As a free lance producer, Matt has worked for some of the best production companies and social media platforms in the business such as Bunim-Murray Productions, Pilgrim Media Group, Sharp Entertainment, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  

 

Matt finished 2019 as the showrunner for The Real World: Bangkok. Bringing the groundbreaking series into the Asian market for the first time, The Real World franchise was reinvented for Facebook Watch.

 

In 2020, Matt helped produce, Born For Business, a project from Bunim-Murray Productions & Peacock that tells the stories of entrepreneurs with disabilities.  These stories evolved unexpectedly as the pandemic presented unprecedented challenges and the series unfolded in an unexpected direction.

 

Matt and his partner, Jason "Ninja" Williams, announced their company, Wabash & Lake Studios in early 2020. The mission at Wabash & Lake Studios is to provide authentic and brazen content through various formats in the documentary, reality television and social media landscape.

In 2021, Matt was the Co-Executive Producer on the documentary series, Sway Life, for Instagram that reveals the stories of prominent social media influencers.  Matt concluded 2021 by producing the series, The Real World: Homecoming - New Orleans for Paramount +.  

In 2022, Matt created his own company, Rucksack Entertainment and produced the second season of the Discovery Channel series, Hoffman Family Gold.

In 2023, Matt developed a project for BBC America, produced the finale for The Challenge USA for CBS & returned to the third season of Hoffman Family Gold for Discovery & Pilgrim Media Group.

Matt believes that authenticity and emotional investment by cast and crew are the most important elements for a successful series.
